“Why me?” and the constructive narrative

In one of many workshops on Constructive reframing, I requested members to reply the query, “Why me?” and once I noticed perplexed appears to be like on their faces, I stated, “No, I’m not speaking about why me as a query that must be answered in a sufferer mode, however why me as a winner or somebody who used the ability of resilience so as to add worth to individuals, conditions or choices”. In different phrases, I requested the members to reframe the reply to one thing constructive like what labored for them. 

One participant raised his hand and stated, “As a result of I imply what I say and I act upon it on a regular basis” and the opposite spoke, “As a result of I’m compassionate and empathetic” and all of the 15 members spoke many times and the room was crammed with an intense vitality.
